I Want To Tell My Chiropractic Story.
I am 27 years old, and I have spent my entire life feeling trapped in a body much older than mine.
I have suffered from chronic headaches , sinus pain , dizziness , nausea and lower back/hip pain for as long as I can remember. In the last two years my headaches turned into migraines , my hip pain made it hard to walk , and my sinuses/allergies made me miserable. Because of these symptoms, I developed debilitating anxiety and my relationships with my husband, children and other loved ones suffered. I no longer recognized myself and had no interest in doing anything at all.
I saw doctor after doctor and they prescribed anti-inflammatories, muscle relaxers, pain pills, allergy medication and a bunch of other band aids without ever taking the time to truly figure out what was causing my pain. They told me that this was part of getting older. Even when my blood work came back a little off, they just told me my body was trying to ‘fight something off’ and threw antibiotics my way. I don’t think they believed I was truly in pain, and I started to wonder if I really was crazy!
After some persistence from my cousin (a former employee of Dr. Braile), I decided to give one last ditch effort and try Chiropractic care . The first thing Dr. Braile said to me was, ‘You are too young to be feeling like this.’ THANK YOU ! Someone finally believes me!
It took less than an hour of an exam and describing my symptoms for him to know what was wrong with me. He was very patient and took the time to explain everything in great detail to me. Within 5 minutes of my first adjustment, my migraine/dizziness/nausea and sinus pain were GONE! It’s been two weeks and I am still pain free. I am no longer dizzy and nauseous in the mornings, I no longer have to take anything for headaches , and I haven’t had to use my muscle relaxers or anti inflammatories . I have also not experienced the tight chest that comes with anxiety!
Anyone who has lived with chronic pain and anxiety truly understands what a gift that is, regardless of the length of time. Thanks to the lack of headaches, I’ve also gone two whole weeks without the caffeine that I used to live off of. I’ve wanted to do that for years, but I was always too scared of my headaches getting worse without it. I feel like I now have a clearer head and natural energy that I never knew existed.
I’ve never looked forward to going to a doctor before. I look forward to going to Braile Chiropractic because I know that I will leave feeling even better, and I am always one hundred percent confident that I understand what he is doing and why he is doing it.
I tell everyone I meet about Braile Chiropractic! I make sure that everyone who comments on the difference in my personality knows that Dr. Braile is a big part of the reason I feel like a human being again .
Thank you Dr. Braile for taking the time those other doctors wouldn’t. Thank you for being the first to actually take my pain seriously. Most importantly, thank you for giving my life back! My life has already changed drastically, and my relationships are better than they have been in a very long time! I am officially a believer!
