Initial Visit Special Offer

To help people during these tough financial times Braile Chiropractic is offering our own "inflation fighter" offer.  All new patients will receive an examination and spinal x-rays, (if needed by examination) for only $35.00. This includes a report of findings and first adjustment.

Your First Visit

Examination at Braile Chiropractic in West Marietta On your first visit, you will receive a thorough chiropractic examination.  The examination procedures we use are specifically selected for your spine and nervous system health. We are looking to find the underlying cause of your health concerns. Our examinations are focused toward detection and the presence of what is known as the "Vertebral Subluxation".

Your examination will consists of a spinal and nervous system evaluation which includes palpation. Palpation is checking your spine by hand. With this exam, the doctor can feel areas of your spine that may have problems. Spinal position, curvatures and muscle tone can also be examined.

Your examination will also include a computerized examination procedure using the "Subluxation Station." This examination involves several important components.

Thermal scan as seen at Braile Chiropractic across from Marietta HSThe first part of this examination process involves reading spinal thermal (heat) differences from one level of the spine to another, as well as from one side of the spine to the other. Heat is a by product of circulation, which is controlled by the autonomic nervous system.

The second part of this examination scans and measures the surface of your spine for surface electrical impulses. This is called the Surface EMG or just SEMG. The SEMG examination helps us measure the effect of subluxations on your motor nerve system and your muscles.

It is important to note that this examination helps us scientifically evaluate your nerve system health. It also gives us a baseline for future tests, which will be done periodically during your care. This allows us to accurately measure your progress to see how your spine is correcting and your nervous system is functioning.

X-rays from Dr Braile, a Chiropractor in West Marietta GASpinal X-rays - If Needed

X-rays may be taken depending on your age and situation. Spinal x-rays are an important part of the examination process when looking for vertebral subluxations. There may be reasons why we would not take x-rays on certain patients. These include pregnant women, most smaller children, patients with recent usable spinal x-rays, and some other special situations.

X-rays give us important information including the position of the spinal bones, the quality of the spine, and safety of adjusting. X-rays can also tell us the relative length of time spinal conditions may have been present.

Patients commonly receive four spinal x-rays on their initial visit. At some point later in care, comparison x-rays may be taken to measure the progress of your spine.

With this important information, we can make a more accurate determination as to the type of adjustments your spine needs as well as the frequency of your care. Your x-rays will be explained to you in detail at your X-ray Report of Findings.

X-ray Report (Doctor's Report) & First Adjustment

Depending on your health issue and situation, you may be able to receive your first adjustment the same day as your initial visit.   In most cases a detailed x-ray report will be scheduled with your first adjustment for a later date as a full and proper analysis of your case and x-rays will require more time.

Report of Findings at Braile Chiropractic in West Cobb county GAYou will be scheduled for your X-ray Report of Findings within a few days of your initial visit. This visit is your most important visit and may take up to 60 minutes.

At your X-ray Report of Findings, we will review your examination and x-rays results in detail with you.  You will also get your recommend a care plan if needed.  We will talk about any special instructions you will need to follow to obtain the best and fastest possible results.

The X-ray Report of Findings has two parts, all done on the same visit. The first part is where the doctor covers vital information needed to understand and participate in your care. This is accomplished using visual aids and may be done in a group setting.

The second part of your X-ray Report of Findings is when you will be brought into a private room where only you (or family if you wish) will see your x-rays and review your care recommendations.

We have set aside specific times for these visits so as not to interfere with regular patient care hours. Our staff will schedule your X-ray Report of Findings with you at the conclusion of your initial visit.
